Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle

Eilean Donan Castle is probably the most photographed castle in Scotland. It also happens to be the Macrae Castle!	The castle was ruined in 1719, and rebuilt between 1912 and 1932. The castle's official website and the Internet Guide to Scotland both have lots more information.

The village of Plockton, with palm trees, is where Hamish Macbeth was filmed.	The most surreal headline we saw all trip. We never did find out what the story was.
