The Promenade, which forms a complete ring around the city, forming a very beautiful, and useful, cycle route. At most times of the day it was packed with cyclists.

A very long advanced stop box - which only has cars in because they didn't quite make it through the previous phase of the lights.

I liked the way that cycle provision was much more clearly signed than it is in Cambridge. There was no need for levitation, or being psychic, to figure out where to go next. This left-turn lane places cyclists who have been on the (bumpy) pavement into an advanced stop box, in the right place to trigger the traffic light sensors, and to be able to turn left or right, or go straight on.
