USA Holiday 2000

Photos of our Summer Holiday, 8th - 30th July, 2000

We spent three very enjoyable weeks in the States, first in Seattle visiting Jannett's brother Mike and his family, and our friends Deb and Chris.

Then we headed to Bellingham to see Marie, Mary Ellen and Edward, before heading on to the Vancouver Folk Music Festival .

After the Folk Festival, Jannett headed to Virginia for a week-long course, so Clare stayed on in Bellingham and Seattle. Then we met up in Chicago for Jannett's brother George's wedding to Louise. This was the first time all of Jannett's siblings had been together since the family reunion in Alaska 6 years before.

After the wedding, we drove along the old Route 66, getting our kicks in St Louis and at the Meramec Caverns before arriving in Stillwater, Oklahoma for Jannett's Graduation Ceremony
