Dinner at Hobb's Pavilion

New Year's Eve Intro | Dinner and champagne | Fireworks | 1st Jan 2000

Six of us spent New Year's Eve dining at Hobb's Pavilion in Cambridge. This restaurant was perfectly placed - facing Parker's Piece, which was the location of the Cambridge's Millennium Party.

The Evening included a reading from work by Charles Dickens, and the opening of a Salmanazar. That's a 9 litre bottle, and the cork put up quite a fight.
