Royal Copenhagen

We went on a guided tour around the Royal Copenhagen factory, where china has been hand-painted for years. It takes many hours to hand-point each traditional piece, so the end product must cost a fortune. The building Clare works in was designed by a Danish architect, and they have Royal Copenhagen seconds (not the hand-painted variety, I hasten to add) and so the third picture here was taken for the benefit of her colleagues.
